Writing an article about Opening is like trying to catch a star, or interpret a koan (what is the sound of one hand clapping?) There can only be pointers for this book, as it exists in many dimensions. Some are beyond definition. If enquiry is limited to the rational, you may be left puzzled. It is only when you engage your intuition, that the purpose and experience of the book become accessible. You may find it helpful to do the same while reading this article. The introduction encourages you to engage with Opening as innocently as children experience themselves and their world. Each person’s experience is different and each individual experience adds something to the presence and evolving nature of this most unusual book. |
